We are very sad to announce the passing of Robin Nelson, our former Musical Director.
Robin spent many years with the society following his retirement as Head of Music at Marlborough College. He took us on a number of foreign tours including to Tuscany and Budapest. We performed many exciting works with him including a number of Robin's own compositions.
Robin was due to retire from the society before the Covid pandemic but continued with us, leading musical sessions over zoom all throughout lockdown.
He will be much missed.
